HP PCs - Copying Photos from a Camera to Your Figurer (Windows 8)

This document pertains to HP and Compaq computers with a retention bill of fare reader, and a digital photographic camera.

Import your photos into Windows Photograph Viewer from your photographic camera so y'all tin can view, organize and share them.

note:

If you are not using the latest version of Windows 8, some graphics and information in this certificate may vary. You can become the latest version from the Microsoft Store.

Stride 1: Connect the camera or the memory card to your computer in Windows eight

Connect hardware option 1 - Connect the camera to the computer using a USB cable

4. Tap or select the device in the window to open the Autoplay Window.

5. Click Import photos and videos.

6. Your photos and videos are displayed on the screen and ready to be imported.

Connect hardware option two - Use the memory card

Most cameras utilize a removable memory card to store digital photographs. If you have a memory carte reader for your figurer and it supports the aforementioned type of card used by your camera, then you can use a memory card reader to admission your photographs on the reckoner.

1. Remove the memory card from your camera. The memory carte du jour is often concealed by a slide-out console on the camera.

2. Insert the retention card into the appropriate retentiveness card slot in the carte du jour reader.

Stride ii: Import Pictures and Videos characteristic in Windows 8

Afterwards your hardware has been continued, the camera or memory card opens showing the pictures or videos on the device. Follow these steps to transfer the photos from the camera or memory card to the computer.

Step 3: View your photos from the Start Menu in Windows 8

Your photos are at present viewable on the Kickoff menu.

1. On the Start screen, tap or select the Photos tile to view the folders in the Picture library.

2. Right clicking on the Pictures library screen opens the Pictures library tools

   Inside the Pictures library yous tin:

   • Select individual folders by right clicking on the folder. Once selected, folders may exist cut, copied or deleted.

   • - Select all the folders by using the Select all icon in the lower correct corner of the screen.

   • - Create new folders organize photos past using the New folder icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

   • - Import additional photos to an existing folder using the Import icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

3. Tap or select a folder. The contents of the binder are displayed on the screen.

   Right clicking on the screen opens tools that let you to organize, select or delete individual photos.

4. To view an individual photo, click on the photograph. Click again to bear witness boosted tools that tin can be used.

   • - Delete the photo using the Delete icon.

4. Use the buttons at the bottom of the screen to alter the size of the picture, rotate the picture, or starting time a slide evidence.

   Windows Photo Viewer can be used to re-create, impress, email, burn to disc, or open your photos in other programs.
